Health Bulletin

Dear ATA families and friends,

ATA Health Committee goal is to bring increased awareness of benefits and behaviors associated with wellness and a healthy lifestyle. We plan to accomplish this through series of quarterly health bulletins. Please see our mission statement.

It is our sincere hope that these health bulletins will help you to take good care of your health and your loved ones.

Sincerely,
Dr.Sujeeth R. Punnam, MD
Chair, Health Committee

(Dr. Sujeeth R. Punnam is a cardiologist in Stockton, California and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Dameron Hospital and St. Joseph's Medical Center-Stockton. He received his medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College NTR and has been in practice for more than 20 years.)

Health Committee Mission Statement: Several diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, seasonal allergies and chronic pain, are every household problem in America as it is in India. We aim to prevent, not merely treat, and control these diseases affecting us.  We are largely not paying attention to the mainstream medical advice especially in the area of prevention. Our mission is to lead you to follow this advice by bringing the relevant mainstream research in an easy-to-understand format.
