President Message

Dear friends,

Together with my colleagues at the American Telugu Association (ATA), I wish you all a very happy, healthy and joyful 2023. I hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful Sankranti.

I am honored and privileged to serve as the president of the American Telugu Association. I am truly thankful for this opportunity, and I’m proud to be following in the footsteps of some great leaders of this organization.

ATA as an organization formed over three decades ago by individuals who are motivated in their goal of promoting and celebrating our Telugu culture here in the states and back home in India. Our organization has since grown into a magnificent pillar of the Telugu diaspora today, with thousands of members, abundant service activities, and with much-needed outreach for our community. As president I intend to keep the tradition going, enhancing our ongoing service projects, improving opportunities for women to be involved in the organization. I would also like to promote Telugu culture within the next generation, and provide opportunities for our children to participate and appreciate our ancient culture.

For our supporters, current members as well as prospective members: I would like to assure you that my intention, as well as that of the board of trustees, is to ensure the continued growth of ATA.

While I am excited for the future, I request that our members continue to be involved and be a part of this journey. I look forward to a productive and successful presidency.

Thank you!

Madhu Bommineni
President
