ATA - Washington,DC VOLLEYBALL Tournament a Grand Success

American Telugu Association(ATA) - Washington,DC chapter conducted a regional Volley Ball Tournament on October 5th in sterling, VA. 16 teams across the region participated and showed their excellent Volley Ball playing skills.

Indoor stadium was packed with well-prepared players and enthusiastic supporters and fans. The tournament started morning around 9am and went throughout the day till 9:30pm.

The audience enjoyed several nail biting matches including breathtaking finals match between Sandbaggers Vs Technical Strategies. In all the matches players exhibited their skills and style with huge spikes and returns resulting in long rallies. Sandbaggers won the finals and won the title.

At the conclusion of the tournament Washington,DC - ATA team thanked all the teams for their participation and congratulated the winners. ATA leaders also thanked Pradyumna Bobby,Sridhar Banala, Ravi Bojja & Venkat Kondapolu for their special efforts to make this event successful. Banjara Indian Cuisine provided the food all day long with discounted price. ATA Team also thanked media TV9 & TV5 for their live coverage.

ATA-13th Conference coordinator Bhuvanesh Boojala, BOTs Rajesh Madireddy, Soumya Kondapally, Janetha Kancharla, Conference Adhoc Committee Member Rammohan Konda, RCs Sridhar Banala, Ravi Bojja, Venkat Kondapolu, Conference Committee Chairs/members Manohar Enugu, Jay Annam, Muralidhar Malyala, Amar Bojja, Sridhar Maram, Hari Kancharla, Surendar Yedulla, Pavan Kondapally, Sravan Paduru, Vishu Kalavala thanked all the Volunteers, Supporters, players, congratulated the winners and presented the trophies. It was a memorable event for the all the Volley Ball lovers in the indoor stadium.

Washington DC team meticulous planning and flawless execution made this entire event a grand success and making the event as one of its kind in the DC metro area.
