ATA Summer Fest 2013-NC Grand Success

American Telugu Association (ATA) has held ATA Summer Fest 2013 its 1st Summer Fest on June 22nd at North Cary Park in Cary, NC. More than 350 adults and children attended the Fest. There was an overwhelming response from youth and seniors alike.  Weather was perfect. Everyone enjoyed fun filled activities including games for children, adults and performances by all.The Summer Fest was attended by many community leaders and many attendees praised ATA Team for their efforts for conducting such a big event in the park with all amenities of large auditorium.
 
The Fest started with a volleyball tournament in the morning many teams vying for 1st ATA Volleyball Championship trophy and continued with henna and face painting for kids and games for Kids and Adults. Large number of teams played volleyball. SandStorm team emerged as the Champion.The program was emceed by Renuka Reddy and Padmaja Nagaram with the audio support of Abhi Battula and Latha Yetukuri.Throughout the event, there were many amazing performances by children. Melodious songs by Sherya Komaragiri and Prasad Kommaraju. 
 
Madhu Bommineni, Trustee, addressed the gathering and talked about ATA and the upcoming 13th ATA Conference and Youth Convention in Philadelphia in July 2014 and appealed to all attendees to enroll as ATA members. Venkat Yetukuri, Regional Cooridnator introduced the ATA Team to attendees.ATA Organizing committee expressed their thanks to all their supporters who made this event a grand success.  Also they thanked Gowri Goli and Venkat

This event was coordinated and organized by Madhu Bommineni, Venkat Yetukuri with the support of Sai Sudhini, Venkat Ananthula, Andy Akula, Pavan Nomula, Narsa Gaddam, Ananth Reddy, prasad kommaraju, and Venkat Tippireddy.Winners trophies awarded by long standing member of ATA Venkat Reddy Bommareddi and past NC Regional Coordinator Ananth Reddy.  ATA Summer Fest was concluded with the National anthem “Jana-Gana-Mana-Adhinayaka, Jaya he'
