ATA New Jersey Enthralls With Samskritika Mahotsavam

American Telugu Association (ATA) organized a Telugu cultural extravaganza ‘Samskrithika Mahotsavam’ on November 24th at North Brunswick, New Jersey. ATA is in support and encouragement of Telugu culture and fine arts across United States and as part of its activities ATA is always on the lookout for organizing finest classical performances as and when possible. The main attraction for this program is ‘Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam Dance Academy’ Arthanarishwara dance ballet performed by 30 dancers and live orchestra. Being November, the month of Lord Shiva, this performance got immense public reception. This dance troupe is touring North America and performed several dance ballets across the countries. It was such an exceptional and awesome experience for everyone who attended. The show received a standing ovation from the audience. Apart from the dance ballet there are many other dancing and singing performances by local music and dance schools. 200 Students from 20 different schools have taken part in this ceremony.

Admission to this mega event was free and this has been possible with the help of ATA supporters and volunteers. The financial generosity of ATA NJ/NY Team goes beyond words and shows the kindness and compassion they have to support cultural heritage. ATA always will be at the front end when it comes to the supporting artistes from India and as well as to promote local talent. Several ethnic clothing and jewelry vendors showcased their designs and able to perform good trade.

Special thanks to Indira Sriram(ATA Women’s Chair) and Shivani Aitha(ATA NJ Women’s Co-ordinator), Vijaya Nadella(ATA NJ Co-ordinator), Praveen Ala(ATA NJ Co-ordinator), Ravinder Gudur (ATA Regional Director) for their painstaking efforts to make this event a grand success.

ATA President Parmesh Bheemreddy addressed the gathering and praised the contribution of all the artists in progressing the culture and fine arts. He mentioned ATA takes every step to strengthen the Telugu community and support their interests and activities. He thanked all the participants and audience for grand success of the event. He also reminded everyone about ATA mega conference that is going to be held in July 2020 in LA and invited each and every one to attend the conference.

ATA President-Elect Bhuvanesh Bhujala who came all the way from Virginia to attend this mega cultural event also addressed the gathering and congratulated the artists for their performances and local ATA Team for organizing such an event. The celebration was attended by community leaders from several organizations such as NATA, TANA, TDF and TFAS.

ATA NJ/NY Team was present in full strength to support the event. Sharath Vemula(Executive Secretary), Board of Trustees( Parashuram Pinnapareddy, Srinivas Dargula, Vinod Kodur, Raghuveer Reddy, Vijay Kundur, Srikanth Gudipati), Sudhakar Perikari(Past President), Regional Advisors( Raj Chilumula, Ramesh Maganti, Mahee SannapaReddy) Vilas Jambula(Social Media Chair), Harish Bathini(Business Chair) worked for the success of this event.
