ATA Meet & Greet Raleigh, NC

Press note for ATA Day and Women's Day in DC

American Telugu Association – Raleigh, NC held Meet & Greet for donors, members and supporters and fundraising event on Saturday April 30th at Spice and Curry restaurant in Durham, NC. Event was organized in preparation for 14th ATA Convention and Youth Conference to be held in Chicago from July 1 to 3rd by Sai Sudhini - Regional Coordinator, Venkat Yetukuri - Web Chair, Pavan Nomula - Standing Committee Chair, Siva Palakodety – Conference Spiritual Chair and Madhu Bommineni, Secretary.

Around 100 people attended the very informal event. Madhu Bommineni welcomed all and introduced the local team and special guests Bhuvanesh Boojala – Trustee, and from Chicago KK Reddy – Conference Executive Director and Ramana Abbaraju. KK Reddy gave brief over view of the conference and Ramana Abbaraju went over the registration and donation packages.

Close to $50,000 was raised with the encouragement from team members in a short time. Evening was enjoyed by all attended. Event concluded with thanks from the team members to all supporters, donors for the generosity and also Spice & Curry management Ravinder Reddy and Pavan Haridas for wonderful food and always coming forward in support of ATA
