ATA expresses shock at sudden death of Mr.Devender Gunna

ATA and its members are saddened to inform you all of the sudden demise of Mr. Devender Reddy Gunna, a great husband, caring father, joyful friend and community figure. He died suddenly on April 18th, 2011. He is survived by his wife Shobha and two sons Vipin and Pavan. ATA expresses its deepest condolenses to his family and pray to the god to rest his soul in peace. Devender was a long standing member of ATA and was actively involved in all ATA local/national events.

Devender and his family have been living in DC area for more than 20 years. He has been working for AARP in Washington DC for several years. Before that he worked for many organizations such as IBM, CIBER, EDS and Freddie Mac. He was not only active in the community by participating in HOA but also gifted singer. His singing of old Hindi and Telugu songs would be remembered for many years. He was the Cultural Secretary for GWTCS and involved in many other cultural organizations.

He will be missed by family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and anyone who knew him.
