ATA celebrates Christmas in Pennsylvania

ATA celebrates Christmas with traditional fervor and gaiety in Pennsylvania

The American Telugu Association in the run-up to 13^th ATA Conference and youth Convention, the three-day convention in Philadelphia on the Independence Day weekend in 2014, is organizing a series of programs both in India and USA.

One of such program was celebration Christmas at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Devon, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 28^th. More than 200 people from Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania attended this program.

The celebrations began with the traditional prayer by Sara, Shaina and Roshitha. After traditional Christmas activities attendees exchanged Christmas greetings. 

Guests were welcomed by Samuel Ramanjaneyulu and in his address he explained the importance of this festival and the peace, love and goodwill Christmas brings to all. He introduced all the leaders and ATA team to the attendees.

The audience was delighted with songs by local talent Sangeetha and Mrs. Ravi Erasmus. Dance performances by Aparna, Meera and others mesmerized the gathering. The venue was filled with great enthusiasm and joy.

On behalf of ATA, Madhav Mosarla, the co-convener, welcomed the guests and appreciated the services of the news media for their help in spreding the organization’s message.

Parmesh Bheemreddy, the 13^th ATA Conference Convener, addressed the gathering and talked about the upcoming conference. He appealed to all the attendees to visit www.ataconference.org and register early to make better planning for the mega event.

ATA President Elect, Sudhakar Perkari greeted and wished Merry Christmas and happy New Year to the attendees on behalf of the organization.

TAGDV is the co-host for the 13^th ATA Conference.  Addressing the gathering, Ravi Potluri, Greater Delaware Valley Telugu association (TAGDV) president, explained his organization role in making ATA Conference a grand success.

The final highlight of the event was a musical program by Tollywood playback Singers Bhargavi Pillai and Prudhvi Chandra. Bhargavi and Prudhvi raised the level of enthusiasm and made the program very entertaining with their hit songs one after another.

The Christmas celebration was attended by other ATA leaders Narayana Pirlamarla, Venu Sankineni along with leaders from organizations TANA and TAGDV.

he event was organized by Samuel Ramanjaneyulu, sangeeta Kumari, Ravi Erasmus, Potharaju, and Samson D. It was supported by Ravi Potluri, Madhav Mosarla, Parmesh Bheemreddy, Ravi Mayreddy and Venkat Madipadaga.

The ATA leadership expressed its appreciation to all the supporters who made the program a grand success.

ఫిలడెల్ఫియా: అమెరికా తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ (ఆటా) ఆధ్వర్యంలో వచ్చే ఏడాది జులై స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం వారాంతంలో జాతీయస్థాయి సభలు, à°¯à±à°µà°œà°¨ సదస్సును నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు.

à°ˆ సందర్భంగా వివిధ కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించేందుకు ఆటా సభ్యులు, à°¨à°¿à°°à±à°µà°¹à°•à±à°²à± ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. à°ˆ నేపథ్యంలో ఆటా ఆధ్వర్యంలో అక్కడి తెలుగు ప్రజలు క్రిస్మస్ ఉత్సవాలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించినట్లు వారు తెలిపారు. డిసెంబెర్ 27à°¨ కింగ్ అఫ్ ప్రష్యా దగ్గరి డెవాన్ లోని సెంట్ ల్యూక్ లుతేరెన్ చర్చ్ లో  నిర్వహించిన ఉత్సవాల్లో పెన్సిల్వేనియా, à°¡à±†à°²à°¾à°µà±‡à°°à± , à°¨à±à°¯à±‚జెర్సీ  తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో నివాసముంటున్న సుమారు 200మందికి పైగా ప్రవాసాంధ్రులు పాల్గొన్నట్లు నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు. దీంతో సెంట్ ల్యూక్ లుతేరెన్ చర్చ్ ప్రాంగణం కోలాహలంగా మారింది.

ఆటా మెంబర్ శామ్యూల్  రామాంజనేయులు అతిథులందరికి  ఆహ్వానం పలుకుతూ  ప్రేమ, à°¶à°¾à°‚తికి చిహ్నంగా నిలిచే పర్వదినం క్రిస్మస్ అని, à°•à±à°°à±€à°¸à±à°¤à± బోధనలు నేటి మానవాళికి ఎంతో ఆదర్శనీయమ అన్నారు. క్రిస్మస్ సాంప్రదాయ ప్రార్థనలను సార, à°·à±ˆà°¨, à°°à±‹à°·à°¿à°¤ ఆలాపించారు, à°ˆ ప్రార్థనలతో ఉత్సవాలు సాంప్రదాయ బద్దంగా మొదలైయ్యాయి. అనంతరం ఆత్మీయ, à°ªà±à°°à±‡à°®à°¾à°¨à±à°­à±‚తితో క్రిస్మస్ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలుపుకున్నారు. à°ˆ సందర్భంగా  చిన్నారులు అపర్ణ, à°®à±€à°°à°¾ మరియు తదితరులు తమ నృత్య ప్రదర్శనలతో ఆహుతులను ఆకట్టుకున్నారు.

13à°µ ఆటా కన్ఫరెన్స్ కన్వీనర్ పరమేశ్ భీంరెడ్డి వచ్చే ఏడాదిలో చేపట్టబోయే తెలుగు మహాసభలా కార్యక్రమం గురించి అతిథులకు వివరించారు. కార్యక్రమాన్ని విజయవంతం చేసేందుకు తొందరగా తమ పేరును www.ataconference.org à°¦à±à°µà°¾à°° à°°à°¿à°œà°¿à°¸à±à°Ÿà°°à±  చేసుకోవాలని కోరారు. ఆటా కార్యక్రమాలకు సహకరిస్తున్న వారందరికి ఆయన అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.

కో-కన్వీనర్ మాధవ్ మోసర్ల ఆటా తరపున అతితులందరికి స్వాగతం పలికారు. మీడియా సహకారం పట్ల ఆయన కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. 

ప్రెసిడెంట్ ఎలెక్ట్ సుధాకర్ పెర్కారి ఆటా తరపున క్రిస్మస్ మరియు నూతన సంవత్సర శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు, à°¡à±†à°²à°¾à°µà±‡à°°à± వ్యాలీ తెలుగు సంఘం అధ్యక్షుడు రవి పోట్లురి సభను ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగిస్తు ఏ విధంగా డెలావేర్ వ్యాలీ తెలుగు సంఘం అటామహాసభలను à°˜à°¨à°‚à°—à°¾ నిర్వహించెందుకు సహకరిస్తున్నది తెలిపారు.

ప్రముఖ గాయకులూ భార్గవి పిళ్ళై, à°ªà±ƒà°¥à±à°µà°¿ చంద్ర సంగీత విభావరి అతిథులను ఉర్రుతలు ఉగించాయీ. à°ˆ కార్యక్రమానికి ఆటా నాయకులు నారాయణ పిర్లమర్ల, à°µà±‡à°£à±à°—ోపాల్ సంకినేని, à°µà±†à°‚కట్ మడిపడగ,రవి మేరేడ్డి తానా నాయకులు , à°¡à±†à°²à°¾à°µà±‡à°°à± వ్యాలీ తెలుగు సంఘం నాయకులు కూడా హాజరయ్యారు.

శామ్యూల్  రామాంజనేయులు, à°°à°µà°¿ పోట్లురి, à°¸à°‚గీతా కుమారి, à°°à°µà°¿ ఎరాస్మస్, à°ªà±‹à°¤à°°à°¾à°œà±, à°¸à°¾à°®à±à°¸à°¨à± à°¡à°¿,  à°ˆ కార్యక్రమాన్ని విజయవంతం చేయడానికి విశేషంగా కృషి చేసారు. మాధవ్ మోసర్ల, à°ªà°°à°®à±‡à°¶à± భీంరెడ్డి, à°°à°µà°¿ మేరేడ్డి, à°µà±†à°‚కట్ మడిపడగ సహాయ సహకారాలు అందించారు. వీరందరికీ ఆటా  నాయకులూ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
